Antigua square of San Roque was built in 1801. It is covered in most parts of brick with talavera. It is considered as the first traditional market of the city and since 1961 occupied the premises of what was the old market called El Parian.
Currently the site is properly conditioned and refurbished, with a total of 112 premises, which are sold the most varied handicrafts that are produced in different regions of the state.
